AFG Grant Awarded
The Union City Fire Department has been awarded another AFG Grant for the purchase of a Quantitative fit test machine. This machine will allow us to properly face fit all members to their SCBA Face Piece. This is important so that we do not breath contaminents from fires or chemicals or biological agents at a haz-mat incident. We should recieve this equipment April 2nd 2010.
Sealed Bids Being Accepted
Hydrant Testing to Begin Monday April 26
Hydrant testing will begin in and around Union City on April 26th 2010. The testing will likely continue through the month of May.
